Found a Ksport hydraulic handbrake in some poor clapped out FC RX-7 in the junkyard. It was welded to the floor, but I got it out with a little elbow grease and a hammer. Then I ground off the shitty welds and repainted the bracket and boom good as new.
Brand new: $200
Junkyard refurb: $6 !!!!!!
Do I need a hydraulic handbrake? well no...but! Jezza claims that ladies are turned on by handbrake turns sooooo

I co-drove a car with that exact model handbrake. You see the ridges in the lower horizontal orange piece? That's for locking the handbrake on (such as when parking). There's supposed to be a bar on the bracket that flips down in that slot to hold the handbrake on. You could probably fab up a replacement without too much trouble. You can also adjust the length of the handle a couple inches if you want.

Yep a buddy of mine in college had the same one in his 240sx. I was originally just gonna sell it, but now I'm thinking about making the lock bar and installing it in place of the original ebrake in my MR2 which currently is only semi-functional as it only locks one of the rear wheels. It might come in handy for hooning or if I ever do any rally or rallycross
